It Gets Whiter for Summer '09
Do some window shopping on the mall and see a touch of white almost everywhere. Though if the building itself is painted white all over, well, duh.
This summer, the trend gets even whiter. Before, it was all about playing with fun and breezy colors. Though still existent, the colors are flowing to a fade, to pale, to white. Perhaps the artistic world has thought about putting back a no-brainer touch to color trend for the season.
The whiter the cleaner...

The whiter the better...

Eyes Peeled To Angelina
By simply looking at the photo, you might think at first that Hollywood is coming up with a more realistic remake of ULTRAVIOLET for 2010... or perhaps it was only me who thought about that :p
Check this out:
Well actually, Ultraviolet is blocked by the film scene umbrella at the moment and no sequels whatsoever is at sight. However, the attached photo showing Angelina Jolie in a Milla Jovovich-like hair style is taken from her upcoming movie "Salt," showing (according to sources) in 2010.
Salt is about a Russian sleeper spy who is entangled in a web of "please believe me, I am innocent" type of situation as there are those against her who believe that she's out to assassin the President. Hmmm... something to watch out for... with a pout ;*

EAR JUICE ALERT: "Fruit Machine" by The Ting Tings
Something worth storing in your MP3 player: The dynamic duo "The Ting Tings" squeezes out a jumpy and fun eargasmic music experience with their song "Fruit Machine".
This should make your song list right away like a "KACHING," promising your boredome to walk out on you if, as the song goes, "...you keep playin'..." it ;)

Midweek Casuals
For the busy bodies, corporate freeks, and people who work their ass off for a living in a certain working environment, dress codes can be your biggest enemy. Keep your enemy closer and bend its spine in a hip and chic way. How?

Planning what clothes to wear ahead of time is the safest thing to rely on, however, when it comes to a point that you'll find this tiring (eventually), you can always set your "theme" instead of the clothes exactly. On Mondays, since it's the start of the week, you can go all dressed up, crossing up to Tuesday. Come Wednesday, the middle of the week, this is the start of giving hints of a laid back touch to your office attire... and this can go to what they call "dress down" up to Friday.
Since not all professional institutions declare a certain dress down day for a work week, you can always find ways to bend the rules without breaking it. My advise, do a little research ;)
And so it's a Wednesday, time for your Midweek Casuals ;)

Three Words for DIOR: "To Die For"
Have you checked out the latest advertisement of Dior Homme for 2009? I would like to consider myself lucky to have passed by this one on the net as I was surfing here in the office. Though I'm not really paid to surf all day, let's just say I had a blessed day to have my eyes laid on this ad wonder:
Based on my research, a pair of these feet beauties costs around $70 up and expect it to go $100 or more if you want to have it delivered to your doorstep. It's a Dior vintage and if you're passionate enough for fashion, money will never be an issue... the purchase will be worth it ;)
It is very simple, clean, and striking at the same time. I am in complete envy right now, wishing I was in that guy's place. However, that can be arranged *wink*
I know some of you have your eyes peeled on those delicious skinny pants but I have mine lower... yes, that would be on the shoes. I also tried surfing the net for those kind of pairs and again, luckily, I was able to spot one. Call me selfish but the photo below is just another version of this hi-cut sneaker boots from Dior. Believe me, it's a classic:

Damn Flippers That'll Make You Gorgeous
Nope, they don't make me sick and I'm pretty sure that dreaming of wearing them will never ever cross my mind... unless a big sum of cash is at stake *winks*
I was just browsing through some online blogs and posts about fashion and voila! A feature on the beautiful Oscar stars whom everyone loves crossed my fast finger scrolling agenda. Yep, them girls sure are pretty but hit the breaks with this fashion trend: A flipper-like gown's end. Hmmm... I don't think I described that right but I think you get the idea.
Here in the Philippines, the cut is called "Serena" or mermaid due to the silhouette of the dress itself. It is fish-like slash flipper-like in figure and it does somewhat bring a little something extra to an already beautiful curve.
Nothing against this, I was just amazed.
Spotted wearing such structure is Diva Female Version of a Hustler, Beyonce Knowles

...and they (Beyonce) sure are in it together with Vanessa Hudgens flip flapping their beauty at the red carpet.
